Reentry and Workforce Partnerships
Second Chance employers can establish a wide range of community partnerships, from light touch information sharing to deep strategic partnerships. As a starting point, employers can contact workforce, reentry, corrections and training organizations to let them know they are open to considering candidates with past convictions and communicate their background review process. As a next step, employers can collaborate closely with these organizations to share available positions and relevant skills and even offer on-site interviewing at community partner locations to drive access and interest.
