The Manufacturing Institute: Community Partnership Scorecard
The Manufacturing Institute, a nonprofit workforce development and education affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has developed a Second Chance Hiring initiative as one of its Diversity and Equity focuses, part of their mission to build a resilient manufacturing workforce prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the future: Second Chance Hiring | The Manufacturing Institute,

The Scorecard is designed to help employers identify high-quality partners to refer and support candidates with past convictions. While every company will have different needs and priorities, this tool provides baseline criteria to explore with prospective referral partners as companies make Second Chance hiring a more significant part of their talent strategy. Besides offering a valuable list of criteria to assess those organizations one may choose to partner with, it also offers for the community groups an instructive and aspirational list of capabilities and services.
It is unlikely that any community partner will hit all the Scorecard marks, but it can assist you in thinking about what your company should look for from an outside support organization, and what capabilities and resources will make for a meaningful relationship that will yield a productive outcome for your organization and your Second Chance Hires.
