Workforce Development: CT State
Connecticut State Community College (CT State) offers a wide range of short-term training and certificate programs to help residents, including Second Chance hires, gain the skills needed for today’s job market. Through its Workforce Development and Continuing Education division, CT State provides non-credit programs in fields like healthcare, IT, manufacturing, business, hospitality, and social services.
These programs are designed to prepare individuals for industry credential exams and offer career advancement opportunities. Many are tailored to meet employer needs and can be delivered on-site, online, or at campus locations statewide. CT State also offers customized training to upskill existing employees based on company-specific requirements.
